Weekly Community Ride Opportunities

Peru- Mondays
Meet @ 5:45, Ride @ 6:00 p.m.

Led by ladies this is a “no drop” ride to encourage more women to ride. Weather-permitting, they leave from Breakaway Bike Shop at 6:00 p.m. If you have never ridden in a group, this is a great place to start and to learn valuable group riding skills. It also gives you an opportunity to meet other female riders of similar ability.   Ride pace and length varies and is determined based on participants. Suitable for road and hybrid bikes.

Logansport- Tuesdays
Meet and Ride @ 6:00 p.m.

Join the 2R2W weekly group bike ride leaving from the south end of the Cole Bridge in Logansport's Riverside Park. Be ready to roll at 6:00 with your helmet and a properly working bicycle. All experience levels and bicycles are welcome. The first week's ride will be approximately 10 miles on a "no drop" route. They will gradually add a few miles and attempt to pick up their pace depending on the group. For those interested in a faster pace after the "no drop" ride they will ride an additional 10-15 miles at a 14-16 mph pace with lights. This is a great opportunity to have fun, log some miles and gain experience in a group setting and get yourself ready for the 10th Annual 2R2W Bike Tour.
